Stephen Sword is a printing historian and proprietor of the stiff’n’sore press in Stouffville, Ontario, an experimental shop committed to historic letterpress techniques. His current research in printing history and practices is centered at Black Creek and Lang Pioneer Villages, and at the Bibliography Room, Massey College, Toronto. Stephen will be speaking later in October at the 40th annual American Printing History Association (APHA) Conference “Printing on the Handpress & Beyond“. He will be giving us an advance preview of his talk here in the Colin Friesen Room at Massey on Thursday, October 15th, at 4 pm.
